Since the 1950s we have been in the centre of Bournemouth’s community and our main building is used all year round.

In the past our facilities have been used by a local language school, welcoming many hundreds of children from all over the world to our building. We have also hosted diverse events from Antique Fairs, Murder Mystery Evenings to a car rally. An external nursery and bridge club use our facilities and we regularly support Ladies Nights and social events.

In the summer we will be holding Car Boot sales and during the Bournemouth Air Show our car park is used by the public.

The Knole is owned and run by Bournemouth Masonic Buildings Ltd. We seek to promote inclusivity and diversity, and to ensure that the work environment for its employees is supportive, where individual respect is shown to all. All members of staff, regardless of their gender, race, ethnic background, culture, (dis)ability, sexual orientation, age, religion, socio-economic status or any other factor are supported and encouraged to perform to their potential.
